ZEENA QUERBACH

Owner and Lead Event Coordinator

Zeena Querbach has had a lifelong passion for events and bringing people together in meaningful ways. While in college, she was a founding member of a co-ed entrepreneurship fraternity, where she served as Vice President of Event Coordination, gaining hands-on leadership and planning experience.

After graduating, Zeena spent several years in the fashion industry working as both a model and a fashion stylist. During this time, she participated in numerous fashion shows and expanded her role behind the scenes by planning runway shows and special events, further sharpening her creative eye and organizational skills.

​

Zeena later transitioned into wedding planning, helping dozens of couples bring their visions to life, by managing logistics and timelines, all while ensuring each celebration felt personal, seamless, and unforgettable.

​

After becoming a mother to a child with a rare syndrome, Zeena’s professional focus took on deeper purpose. She joined the Board of Directors for Any Baby Can, a nonprofit organization in Austin that provides critical therapies and services to children and families. Now in her second year as Board Chair, she also serves on the Development Committee, where she leverages her event planning expertise to support impactful fundraising initiatives.

 

Inspired by her love of giving back and firsthand experience with the power of fundraising, Zeena founded Events By Zeena, specializing in nonprofit fundraising and mission-driven events. She has partnered with numerous organizations to help raise hundreds of thousands of dollars in support of programs and services that strengthen and uplift the community.

Benefit Auctioneer Specialist and Fundraising Consultant

Jake Addams, B.A.S. is dedicated to helping nonprofit organizations grow their revenue, services and outreach to better serve their communities. As a dedicated husband and father of 3 children, 2 with special needs, he has a passion for helping people. Jake helps those who need our support to live fuller, healthier, and more fulfilling lives as well as their caretakers.

 

As the lead auctioneer of Proceed with Auction, his spontaneous style wins over the crowd for huge results in the live auction. His life experience gives him an authenticity and empathy that connects with donors during his heartfelt fundraising appeals. This combination of enthusiasm and real life experience connects the audience to the organization’s mission at an emotional level.

Jake is not just an auctioneer, he is a fundraising professional. His Benefit Auction Specialist certification distinguishes him from a run of the mill bid caller. His expertise yields big results for his nonprofit clients. He is a partner who builds long term relationships with nonprofit organizations looking for a change, more excitement and more donations..
